Little House on Stuart Road: November 2012
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. I recently came across a lot of unused vintage Christmas cards at my local thrift store. I broke them up into groups and they have starting selling well in my Etsy store, much to my pleasure and somewhat surprise. Some of them evoke memories of cards from Grandma and Grandpa- especially the ones that contained a crisp fresh ten dollar bill! Here are some of the ones available in my store, plus a few great ones from other Etsy sellers. Remember these "fuzzy" flocked cards?

Tuesday, May 17, 2011. After a sale in my stuart road vintage shop last night,I was going to announce that I had finally reached 100 sales! But after an unprecedented day of activity,I am proud to call it 105! Little House on Stuart Road: Christmas Past....
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2013/12/christmas-past.html
Friday, December 6, 2013. This week I finally decided to go through all the Christmas Ornaments that my late husband and I collected and hung on out tree each year in order to pare down. I decided to keep the beautiful glass ones (mostly animals) that he gave me each year we were together (of course) and pick of few others to give to charity. In the mix were a few from both our childhoods that I thought some of my customers might enjoy, not that I've decided to let them go-. View my complete profile.

Little House on Stuart Road: It's Luckett's Time again...
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2014/05/its-lucketts-time-again.html
Friday, May 16, 2014. It's Luckett's Time again. I decided to do the Luckett's Spring market again this year and started setting up yesterday. Well, Mother Nature cooperated long enough for us to set up, although they had to move my spot due to flooded and muddy fields. We had to carry everything across the main field to the booth so we wouldn't get stuck in the mud. Talk about sore muscles! Anyway. I'm not complaining. the torrential rains are passing and tomorrow promises to be a great day. But more wo...

Little House on Stuart Road: A Little Taste of Ireland
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2013/03/a-little-taste-of-ireland.html
Sunday, March 17, 2013. A Little Taste of Ireland. Well, I hope you all had a lovely St.Patrick's Day whether you're Irish or not! I happen to be about three quarters Irish. My grandfather came straight through Ellis. Island from the "land of saints and scholars". But I digress.this post is supposed to be about bread. Soda bread in particular. I'm not prone to cooking Irish "type" food but this year, found a simple recipe that. Doesn't it look pretty? And it was really si. Mplewhich makes it even better.

http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 22, 2012. I've been thinking for months now about opening a vintage jewelry and accessory shop on Etsy and I finally did it this weekend! After many name ideas (and searches for originality! I decided to call it Like Bette in honor of my favorite movie actress of all time, Bette Davis. She was full class and style and didn't everyone want to wear the fashion of the day as well as Bette did? Sunday, September 2, 2012. I'm blessed to be able to stay in this little house on Stuart Road, ...

Little House on Stuart Road: Early Blooms...
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2013/04/early-blooms.html
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. After the horrible events in Boston yesterday, and the all consuming news reports, I found solice in my garden on this sunny spring afternoon. There's nothing like the buzzing of the busy bees and the soothing sound of trickling water to soothe your soul. Take pleasure in the little things every day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
