Sunday, April 13, 2008. After an afternoon crit, we took the streetcar to one of the cemeteries. We "broke" in-it was technically closed, but there was no gate in the back! And shot there for about an hour. It seemed to be a newer cemetery as it was rather clean and pristine. We waited forever for the streetcar to come back, but it was really rather fun to ride. . But here's a brief overview of what happened the rest of the trip. . The French Quarter had some truly beautiful architecture. It's a very lush area. We also ate dinner on Bourbon Street. Sunday, March 1, 2009. We left New Orleans and our first stop was Houston, TX to visit my friend Yvonne and Brianna who happened to be visiting from Minnesota. We stopped by just to say hi and grab lunch on our way to San Antonio. When we got to San Antonio we spent the night with a mutual friend of ours named Tamora. We spent the night hanging out and listening to music and chatting. After leaving San Antonio we headed to Gilbert Arizona to stay with the Binstock's (My cousins). The kids loved Chaz!

The only problem that i have with this trip is most voodoo stuff is happening at night. its better to go out and shoot at night for this kind of stuff. most voodoo shops dont even open till noon or later! Maria Tacke New Orleans. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Second Blog Entry- - Day 6 of New Orleans- -. Yesterday morning (3.28.08) I visited a cemetery. Yesterday afternoon the whole group went on a picnic for lunch. It was fun. Jess and I dressed up in matching outfits and we looked great! Went on a gater hunt. Watched people plant trees. Took pictures of a nontraditional art gallery. Talked to a man who was devastated by Katrina. Watched Jess get yelled at, then cry. It was a good day. The Color of Voodoo.
