The Fruit Of The Matter. Our Costa Rican Adventure. Art of a Letter. Been below freezing every night this past week. I am almost afraid to see what the summer will bring. Last summer we had 8 inches more rain than the state of Washington, when we usually worry all summer about water conservation. I don't get it. I have been working on another project, a bathroom remodel. I am finally to the point of putting paint on the walls! Hearts Ease Cottage Indoor Projects. May 26, 2014 at 11:44 AM. Art of a Letter.

While trying to find the turn off to the place we were staying, who did we discover but our ever dilligent and faithful son Erin standing in the pouring rain with a flashlight (where he had been for the last hour and a half) waiting to show us the way in. We were very glad to see him. In our next installment of “The Our Costa Ri...

The Fruit Of The Matter. Our Costa Rican Adventure. Art of a Letter. Late Spring garden beds. Many years ago, when I was first learning about organic gardening and self-sufficiency, I discovered a book by John Seymour. Titled, The Self-Sufficient Gardener. It is on my wish list, and one day I will find a copy on Amazon at the right price, and it will be mine! Early Fall. The Beets are ready for harvest. Do you use raised beds?
