A Couple of Boomers, Working A Dream. Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Leaving the midwest ahead of the cold weather. After a cold and windy Halloween (and wonderful Sunday turkey dinner with all the trimmings), we are leaving the Chicago area and heading towards AZ. Today driving thru MO, the electronic signs along the road said "winter weather drill, watch out for snowplows", very strange. And we did see a couple of snowplows apparently, practicing. A Couple of Boomers, Working A Dream. Sunday, October 19, 2014. As usual, it's been a bit since the last post. Summer is over and travel is in the air. We have left IBSP for a bit to come to MI for visits with friends and some appointments. Soon we will be back to Chicago for Halloween with the family and grand-kids. Then on to Wickenburg AZ for the annual Bluegrass Music Festival. Some pictures from the summer. Fish Boil on Lake Huron w/ friends. Grant on his 3rd birthday. Weekend camping trip to IBSP.

Three nights, 4 days of travel, 300 miles a day and we would be parked at our friends driveway, Ted and Renees'. Spring of 2014 at Ted and Renees'. A Couple of Boomers, Working A Dream. Monday, May 5, 2014. Made it to Illinois Beach State Park. After a few weeks in MI and getting our Dr, Dentist, hair cut and car check-up done, and favorite restaurants visited we left for Muskegon to visit Karla's sister. There, 2 more restaurants and families visited we left and made it to our summer home. Just in time for Mallory's 1st birthday party on Sat. The weather was nice so we were able to be outside. And now the fun begins, babysitting!
