Even though we are sharing a house with Steve and Faith, we had to continue on. Riley and I are more patient and worked hard at our masterpieces, thanks in part to some kits sent to us from Grandma Payne. Others weren't quite so patient. The pumpkins speak for them selves. Monday, September 12, 2011. What a busy summer! It has been a while since I have posted anything basically because I feel like I was gone most of the summer! Now that school is back in, it is time to get caught up. The kids are NOT happy about being back in school, especially Adam. He says it is boring and way too long. Somethin' Sweet from the Smiths. Sunday, March 1, 2009. In an attempt to become a healthy family, we made a few changes in the Smith house. The first one is the way we eat. This was one of my first attempts and the kids loved it. I baked a Chicken breast rolled with a slice of lean ham and Swiss. Cheese. Topped with a chicken broth and fat-free cream, thickened slightly, sauce with Mushrooms. Then on the side I made baked potatoes. Yams, carrots, and onions. I then seasoned it with vegetable. Monday, December 21, 2009. Esther's Gingerbread House Raising at School. Although this is not the best picture of my beautiful Esther, it's the only one I've got! On Friday morning, I went to school to help Esther with putting together her gingerbread house. It was amazing how many parents were there! The support of parents at our school is quite spectacular.
