Safely Pushing the Limits! Introduction to boat towing. April 17th - 19th (Enrollment Closed). Contact here for future dates or personal instruction. We have three days scheduled for the course but it only consists of two days instruction. Ideally we will complete the training on the first two days, Friday and Saturday. Should there be any delays due to weather, it may still be possible to complete the course without rescheduling. There will be a maximum of four students per. Glider (Make, Model, Color) *.

Safely Pushing the Limits! SIV training is available by scheduling in advance. In order to reduce stress and provide the highest quality of training, small groups of only 3 to 4 students will be booked. Smaller groups allow for more time to fully understand why we practice maneuvers and what to expect. Feel confident in knowing you are in control. SIV insruction is $300 per day and includes 3 tows. We can do a 4th tow for a cost of $50 if time and conditions permit.

Southern Oregon is the home of Woodrat Mountain, a fantastic thermal site with many flyable days and potential for long XC flights but not a desirable place to learn and practice risky maneuvers. We needed a safe place to train over water so we purchased a tow boat and set out on our journey.

Safely Pushing the Limits! The foundation for flying acro begins with recovering from stalls and spins. Stabile stall will be the baseline and posture on a regular basis. In the early stages of learning, big deflations and slack lines are quite common. You simply won't have the reactions to correct the problem without first stabilizing the glider.
