I cut my toe nails yesterday and i had a hang nail on my big toe so i pulled it out and now my toe is swollen. In my experience this could be one of two things. A)Infection, which seems the most likely since it the time between the hangnail and the swollen toe was less than a week. Absolutely no idea sorry!

Moisturise it with nail care oil and when they have stopped flaking, regularly plunge all your nails into raw garlic. This is not scientifically proven but I realised that it worked when I had to peel garlic regularly for my mum and found that the nail on my right thumb became very strong. I could even turn a small loose screw with it! Strengthening nail polish ;). This S* * really works. Are gel toe nails worth it?

If you like longer nails, grow them, if you don't, cut them.Is it better to grow your nails or cut it? Neither one is better than the other. It's pretty much like cutting your hair. It's all up to you! I keep my nails really short. Thats just a personal preference though. Longer nails look ok but there is nothing scarier then those women who have nails like 4 inches long. yikes. The nail went in about half an inch and the blood has since clotted and closed the wound.
