Sensitively Supporting Children, Young People and Families. Looked after Children Support. Diverse cultural backgrounds and languages are represented within the Active8 team which enables us to provide a culturally sensitive service to the people we support. Nevertheless, it may not always be possible to match staff with young people who speak the same language. We, therefore, have access to a bank of qualified and experienced translators, interpreters and proofreaders to assist, when the need arises.

Our staff come from a diverse cross-section of our local community with enrichment of other staff members from around the UK and the world. 85% of our employees are educated to degree level and beyond, but all staff are at least at level 3 standard with a small group of workers working towards level 3. Our training plan is comprehensive and up-to-date to enable consistent & high quality service delivery.

After a successful tendering process the company was awarded a contract to provide support and accommodation for unaccompanied asylum seeking children, on behalf of Liverpool Social Services. Sensitively Supporting Children, Young People and Families. Looked after Children Support. We have a 24 hour response service for the young people using our accommodation-based services. In-line with our commitment to provide Healthy and Safe living environments for our young people and families. Our team is very well trained with the ability to respond to any emergencies that may arise. We are also ready to respond to an emergency accommodation requests from local authorities through our response service.
