Engaging Virtual Realities: "A Ha" Moments in the Digital Age

New found knowledge and language that is acquired in my last Masters class Technology and Curriculum EC&I 832 from others, readings, other blogs, and virtual experiences. Sunday, March 1, 2009. A Ha" Moments in the Digital Age. These moments of clarity have come at funny and unexpected times for me. You have to know what you're looking for and this comes from a person who is overwhelmed by all the yellow at Superstore so she never goes in there and or Wal-Mart with all of the choices and can't seem to re...

I Thought I knew it All (when I was a teenager)!: May 2009
http://cbmasters.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
I Thought I knew it All (when I was a teenager)! Monday, May 18, 2009. I visited The KinderKids' Classroom Blog. By Maria Knee and was thoroughly impressed with the way she used web 2.0 tools to document the activities of her Kindergarten class. The visit introduced me to RockYou.com. As well which kind of reminded me of Animoto. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Twitter. View my complete profile. Open Thinking and Digital Pedagogy. Are you being catfished? http://cbmasters.blogspot.com/2009/11/few-thoughts-on-religion.html
I Thought I knew it All (when I was a teenager)! Sunday, November 15, 2009. A few thoughts on Religion. I have been on Twitter this morning and following the Tweets of Alec Couros as usual and I followed his links as usual which lead me to Joseph Hack's blog. And and an article called ipod Religion. Not only did Alec post a link to the blog but then he tweeted, "But in thinking about this, how do ppl currently choose "religion", do they rly "choose"? Is it not most likely ur born into belief systems?

Teaching “Active Learning”? | Teaching Turkey
https://teachingturkey.wordpress.com/2008/07/27/teaching-“active-learning”
July 27, 2008 at 4:25 pm. The students left ten days ago. Out the window of the dining car on the Iç Anadolu Mavi Tren, I can see the same Taurus mountains in which we spent time together. I’m returning to Istanbul from Syria. Since the students left, I’ve been thinking again and again about the summer course, about the students, about the whole project of active learning. I was often confused during the seven week seminar. What is active teaching? Isn’t all teaching active? Sometimes I thought I actuall...

I Thought I knew it All (when I was a teenager)!: September 2010
http://cbmasters.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
I Thought I knew it All (when I was a teenager)! Saturday, September 18, 2010. One of my good friends from High School, Rod Jackson, was supposed to turn 48 today and it was his goal to be alive for one last birthday. He didn't make it missing it by just five days; he had esophogeal cancer and died on September 13th. It's been on my mind since I learned of his passing and I feel compelled to write. I will never know for sure, but in my heart I know it was! That was a grin I tell you! The Rod I want to re...
