The choki shin is one of the most versatile tools I make. It is used for tapping, gua sha, scattered needle and a host of other techniques . These solid sterling silver tools measure approximately 1 1/4" by 3". ChokiShin Silver $89.99. These yoneyama zan shin are hand hammered and smoothed into a beautiful ginkgo leaf shape. Their soft organic feel makes them ideal for shonishin treatments. Each piece measures approximately 7/8" wide by 1 5/8" long and can be made from either copper or silver.

This line of history then moves forward several hundred years to a monk named Jiang Fa who was reportedly a student of Chang San-feng. He came down from Wu-dang mountain and wandered into Chenjiagou (Chen Village). This monk taught Chen Changxing(1771-1853) who then transformed the Chen family system of martial arts into Taijiquan.
