A Cup of Life. Easy Buttermilk Banana Bread. It has been gorgeous here in Southern Germany with lots of sunshine and temps reaching the 60’s! Perfect running weather with my dog and all the spring flowers are really coming up. But enough about all that, let’s get on to some yumminess…. I had some bananas that. Needed to be used up so I thought what would be better than to make banana bread for my very first recipe! Something good is going on here. Banana bread in all it’s glory. It turned out so good!

A Cup of Life. Archive of ‘Dessert’ category. I love strawberries. When I see big ‘ol red strawberries I get excited. Did you know there are white strawberries? I recently saw them in a German garden catalog. They are white with red seeds on the outside and apparently they taste like pineapple. They call them Pineberries. Kind of defeats the purpose. I think for now I’ll stick with STRAW. You could almost count them as breakfast bars. Almost. Mix it all up. Almost forgot the lemon zest! Cut in the butter.

So how did the challenge go? It went surprisingly well and I stayed disciplined through the whole month with the exception of the last day (see below).
