Monday, May 20, 2013. We are a cloth diapering family. One of my friend's sister cloth diapers her children. On a weekend getaway, I stayed at her house and watched how easy it was for her to use cloth diapers (with no washing machine, I might add). It was intriguing, and I totally wanted to give it a try when I had a baby. So, saving money was also a HUGE perk to use cloth. Not only is it environmentally and financially smart to use cloth, it is also so much better for our precious baby! And Buy Buy Baby.

Saturday, February 23, 2013. No Keeping my fingers crossed! Still love using my Mama Belly Oil. I have also packed this in my "labor" bag to bring to the hospital. In this bag I have a heating pad, some lotion, Mama Belly Oil, a massage tool, hair ties, and some LUNA bars! Varicose veins are still present but not too bad. Sunday, September 16, 2012. Little Baby Kivett: weeks 12, 13, and 14. Well, we are heading into the second trimester (I can not believe it! It seems like things are moving so fast at times, and other times I feel like I have been pregnant forever (which is not a bad thing! I have loved the feeling of growing a little tot inside me and am very excited about all of the changes that are about to happen! Total weight gain/loss: 1.6 lbs. She was SUPER excited! Anything making you queasy or sick: being hungry!

Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Caleb's First Birthday - Part Two. As I mentioned earlier, months of on-and-off planning went into the party. I think I had decided on the theme by January! Pinterest was of course my best friend throughout the process, but I designed the invitations and envelope labels (which unfortunately I don't have a pictures of), cupcake toppers, straw flags, banners, and food labels myself in Publisher and just printed them myself, which saved a ton of money! Friday, July 17, 2015. December was a great month, and definitely the most fun Christmas season we have had so far! We started the month off by making gingerbread men with our neighbors.
