The Giesen Family: Christmas 2014
http://thegiesenfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/december-2014.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. As I mentioned in the last post, this Christmas season was by far the most fun! Caleb was old enough to really enjoy all of the activities and we started a lot of fun traditions that we can hopefully carry forward. Like making reindeer sandwiches for lunch on Christmas eve . And making snowman pizzas for dinner. Caleb thought the cheese was the best part! Charlotte took her first big girl bath on Christmas Eve, and of course it had to be with her big brother! After opening presen...

The Giesen Family: June 2011

Monday, June 27, 2011. Your baby weighs about 4½ pounds, as much as a grownup duck, and is approximately 17.5 inches long, about the same as a collarbone-length pearl necklace. The big news this week is lung development—baby's respiratory system is almost completely mature. That means if your baby was born this week, odds are he'd be a healthy bouncing baby with a just a little help from his friends (aka, the NICU). Some of the specifics are:. Starting to get a little more labored. I wake up every ni...

Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Caleb's First Birthday - Part Two. As I mentioned earlier, months of on-and-off planning went into the party. I think I had decided on the theme by January! Pinterest was of course my best friend throughout the process, but I designed the invitations and envelope labels (which unfortunately I don't have a pictures of), cupcake toppers, straw flags, banners, and food labels myself in Publisher and just printed them myself, which saved a ton of money! The food turned out great!

The Giesen Family: September 2012
http://thegiesenfamily.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 13, 2012. Our little man finally had his one year check up last week, which is part of the reason I am just now doing an update - the other reason is because I'm just too darn busy. Caleb is 28.4 pounds (97th percentile) and 31.5 inches (90-95th percentile), so we still have a big boy on our hands. A lot has changed over the past couple months . He wears anywhere from 18 month to 2T clothes. He is in size 5 diapers. He sleeps from 7:00 - 6:30. He still only has two teeth. Even with th...

Friday, September 5, 2014. May, June, and July iPhone Dump. As you will be able to tell from the multitude of sleeping pictures in this post, I think sleeping babies are the cutest! Mom took him to get a big boy haircut while she was here helping me the first week with Charlotte home. Ella has never wanted to wear a bow, but this day at church we had matching dresses and bows for her and Charlotte, and she loved it! All of the cousins in their matching outfits. Sleepy boy after his first tube ride. Our n...

The Giesen Family: December iPhone Dump
http://thegiesenfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/december-iphone-dump.html
Friday, July 17, 2015. December was a great month, and definitely the most fun Christmas season we have had so far! We started the month off by making gingerbread men with our neighbors. It was the first time Caleb did that, and he had a blast! I think he liked eating them as much as he did making them. We also sent out Christmas cards with these two precious kids featured! This little girl was super cute in all of her Christmas outfits! Charlotte loved her first baby doll she got from Noah and Ella!

Tuesday, August 23, 2011. So I finally have a chance to sit down and document Caleb's birth story before I forget everything. Some of the details are already a little blurry, but here are the things I remember. This is going to be extremely long, but I want to document everything I can so I can I can go back and read all of the details I may have forgotten. Here are some pictures from our hospital stay. Monday, July 25, 2011. 37 Week Update and Caleb's Room. Here are some pictures of the room and a few of the craft projects I have been working on:. This is Caleb's wreath that will be going on the hospital door. It is made of monogrammed burp cloths that me, my Aunt Donna, mom, and Kayla worked on two weekends ago when I was in Opp. I think it turned out great! We will also be hanging it on our front door once we come home from the hospital. Here is the back wall, and no - we aren't having twins, one of ...
