This year the boys were able to skate well enough to lead out the Clarkson Men's Hockey Team. They were so excited! I love that Clarkson lets the kiddos be a part of the game too! Last weekend we took the kids to Clarkson to go sledding. It was a pretty steep hill, but the kids had a blast. They lasted over an hour sliding down and walking up the hill. Only a couple of close calls, but we all walked away with our bodies intact! Alden's first trip down. He made it almost all the way to the road! And off they go! Adam on his own.

Adam's Squirt Team only played one tournament this year. They went down to Clayton, NY for the Shiver on the River Tourney. They played hard and ended up winning the whole thing! Every 4 years our elementary school hosts the Olympic games. Today they had their opening ceremonies. It was a wonderfully organized parade and ceremony at the high school football field. The kids loved it! Adam was selected to march the flag into the stadium. Alden's class represented Ireland. Adalee's class represented the Ukraine. Red Island, Croatia.

Since it was a half day at school, we decided to have his party right after school got out that morning. We had a fun day celebrating. Can't believe he is 9! It was such a beautiful and fun wedding! The kids enjoyed hanging out at Gray's and the wedding was amazing! Congratulations Uncle Kirk and Aunt Barb! The kids say they are waiting for cousins!
