Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Sunday, November 9, 2008. While in Ottawa, we visited Rideau Hall, the home of Canada' Governor General, or "GG" as those of us in the know prefer to call her. The house was open for tours, so we enjoyed looking inside. Turns out "GG's" family loves ping-pong, and has set up a ping-pong table in the ballroom! Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Sunday, January 20, 2008. This past week another of our very dear friends from Japan came to visit. Blair has been on a crazy trip around Asia since leaving Japan, and is on his way down to Chile, stopping for a couple of weeks in the States! So, luckily for us, that included a couple of days in Ithaca. We thought to ourselves, if you were visiting Upstate New York from New Zealand for only two days, what would you want to see? The answer seemed obvious to us- Canada!

Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Saturday, November 15, 2008. Our friends Melissa and Curran are getting married in June, so last weekend Katie and I headed up to Syracuse with Melissa to shop for wedding dresses! Syracuse, it turns out, is really cute if you are not at "The Mall" or the airport. Plus, we went to a Japanese tea house afterwards which had my Japanese dishes! It was so sad. Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Saturday, October 13, 2007. Before dinner, the rest of my cousins came over to say hello! It is a very rare occassion when I am in a room with all six of my cousins, so it was very exciting! Kevin brought Lauren and Joseph with him- they were so cute! Then, we had a delicious meal. Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Monday, September 15, 2008. Mom and Dad came to visit for a few, great weeks, so Zach and I went down to JFK to meet them. But, on the way, we stopped by Central Park for the day, in hopes of catching a Turkish Festival. We found no festival, but it was a beautiful day, so we had a wonderful time walking around! Central Park is so big, that no matter how many times we go, we always manage to find somewhere new. Zach and I by the lake. Views of New York.

Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Monday, September 8, 2008. The next day, we met up bright and early with Blair and Heather for a little more sight-seeing before heading to Heathrow and home! It was especially sweet of them to show us around, because they were moving that day! We had a lot of fun, so we are happy they did so. Shopping for books beside the river. Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Saturday we had our big Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Which means that the girls went shopping while the boys were supposed to be cooking, which strangely resulted in them leaving to play soccer.
