The 8 month wait between posts is over, but the bigger wait for babygirlchild number 2 to arrive will have to hold on for a couple more days. She is due on Thursday 10/8, but her sister was 9 days late, so we aren't holding our breath. A couple weeks ago on a warm day I decided Ruthie and I needed to get messy and have some fun outside. We have had this box from our toilet. She took to painting the box so seriously. She wouldn't even look at me to take her picture. So, needless to say, since this day we have spent many days painting and getting just as messy. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. We went downtown to the S and W Grand to celebrate our friend Jaime's birthday. The husbands actually went too, but once again they didn't end up in any of the pictures. Cat in the Hat. One of the moms from Maclain's class dressed up as the cat in the hat and stopped by to see the kids. Sunday, September 12, 2010. We went to New York for Labor Day with our friends Campbell and Spencer. We went to 2 matches at the U.S. Open, Vera Zvonareva vs. Andrea Petkovic and Roger Federer vs. Jurgen Melzer! It was awesome being there in person and we had amazing weather! I hope we get to go back next year! Jason, me, Campbell and Spencer. There's Federer, in the black. I wish he could have made it to the finals! She did great for her first game ever! Thursday, May 27, 2010. Emma's Last Day of Kindergarten! I can't believe this year is already over! I feel like it just started! It has been a great year. She had a really sweet teacher, made great friends and absolutely loved going to school. Her teacher put together a dvd with pictures and video of the whole year. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Tennessee vs. Ole Miss. We finally made it to our first game this season! This is a carrot we got in our Bountiful Basket.that was NOT even close to the biggest one, it was just the funniest! Kite flying with Grandpa!
