Monday, June 29, 2015. We had a great weekend at Aunt Katy and Uncle Joe's house. First we had to cool off at the lake. We tie-dyed our shirts for the Bellingham Kids Traverse. We are the Incredible E's. I ran the 1 mile trail run Elsa biked the 1.5 mile mountain bike leg. We both did the 1/2 mile obstacle course and the 200 m. trek, and Nathan was our biggest fan. Here we are running down the home stretch! Cheering on other competitors. First place finishers in their division, and AWESOME overall!

Saturday, May 30, 2015. Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of our camping season. Let the fun begin! It all begins with the list. Check out what Evan added to the bottom of our packing list. Hiking through the wildflowers on our way up to Eight Mile Lake. This view is worth the hike! What Mom wanted was for the three of us, who were all sitting on the rocks, to turn around and smile. We said a bittersweet goodbye to the yellow and white stripes of Abby's baby room, and hello to big girl purple! And the highlight - a giant horse decal. Perfect for our little horse-lover. Many hours and achy muscles (mostly for Daddy) later, we're done! Still waiting on a couple of other items for the walls, but the almost-8-year-old is VERY excited. Birthday celebrations next week! The Adventures of Abbers and Kate. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Love at first swing. Kate loves the swing, she stayed in it the entire time we were at the park. Silly grin on her face the whole time. The grin was replaced by tears when we had to head home. Maybe we need to get one in the backyard! Abby's school does a "Morning with Mom" that includes donuts, juice and tons of sugared-up kids.
