We'd been planning to take Ella to see Santa and while shopping at Walmart on Saturday, we overheard an announcement that the big guy was in the Garden Center! I would've thought that THE Santa Clause would have something better to do on a Saturday afternoon than to hang out at Walmart, but hey - we're not complaining! Thursday, October 20, 2011. Ella is 8-months old! It was such a beautiful day so we decided to have a little photo shoot in the park. Of course, Ella was excited about it :). Ok I'm ready…what are we doing? Hooray for getting older! Can you see me? Monday, October 3, 2011. Ella is beginning to pull up in her bed to see over the bumper pad. Monday, September 19, 2011. On Friday (9/16) we flew to Dallas to see Jason and Kelly (Julia's brother and Sister'n law). Even though it wasn't a direct flight, Ella did great on both the flight to Houston and connecting flight to Dallas! First stop for us was IN-N-OUT Burger. We got hooked while in San Francisco a few years ago and couldn't wait to try it again in Dallas. If you haven't had it, and are ever near one, get one…you won't be disappointed…. She likes to pose. Ella likes the close-up shots.

Sunday, November 20, 2011. Despite our best efforts, Ella continues to grow! This week we celebrated her 9-months by going to the park for probably the last nice day of the year.
