Final Major Project – Lie | Sarah Jane Haigh
https://sarahjanehaigh.wordpress.com/2009/05/03/final-major-project-lie
Final Major Project – Lie. I chose to start with one word being ‘Lie’. I gave myself an open brief giving myself chance to be able to do exactly what I wanted. Firstly I did an anonymous survey and sent it to all my contacts. I collected 80 lies and truths. I then chose the most interesting answers and decided to create a 72-page book. Flatland 1st | Sarah Jane Haigh
https://sarahjanehaigh.wordpress.com/2009/05/03/flatland
The requirement’s for this brief was to create two very different ideas for the book Flatland by Edwin A. Abbot. In this book I decided to make each chapter into a poster that fits into a box. The idea was that the writing went from big to small because I personally found the book boring and found myself switching off. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Russian Roulette ‘What’s it worth’ | Sarah Jane Haigh
https://sarahjanehaigh.wordpress.com/2009/05/03/107
Russian Roulette ‘What’s it worth’. The starting point to this brief was ‘What’s it worth’. I decided to create a campaign for primary school children to heighten their awareness of the 5 senses. I feel that children ages 4 10 take for granted their different senses. After researching into this it became apparent that I was right. Within this pack are 5 posters that are to be put around the school classrooms to get the children talking. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Next post →.

AWOL – ISTD Frost. By putting both pages on a double side spread it is possible to see and compare the differences between the two papers grid system. I wanted to keep the viewer engaged with the book, so I inserted instruction pages to create a sense of interaction. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. https://sarahjanehaigh.wordpress.com/2009/05/03/flatland-2nd
The requirement’s for this brief was to create two very different ideas for the book Flatland by Edwin A. Abbot. As apposed to a standard grid system I decided to enclose the txt within the word chapter. Each chapter is on one page with a different colour for the word chapter. The ‘A’ in chapter is always the colour of chapter on the next page. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:.
