Friday, July 6, 2012. Go To The Zoo. While on vacation in Colorado Springs, we visited the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. This particular zoo is known for having the largest giraffe herd of any zoo in the world. According to this sign, the giraffes were getting too big. Thursday, March 1, 2012. My friend, Lori had posted about doing this on her blog. Quicksand is what is called a non-Newtonian fluid. That is a fluid that takes on the characteristics of a solid.
