Saturday, August 16, 2008. A much needed update! Record heat in Portland! It has hit over 100 degrees for three days now, which is unheard of around here. Of course, it wouldn't be so bad but we don't have air conditioning. So right now I am sitting in my house and it is 83 degrees in here. It is so hot! Yesterday our house got up to 89, lets just say I have not been sleeping well at all and it doesn't help that I am pregnant! Halle enjoying a swim and a popsicle. Erick and Halle playing in the pool.

Monday, April 28, 2008. Our trip to Brookings, Oregon. After Timmy's wedding, we went to Brookings, OR. It was a long drive but we got to see some redwood trees on the way, they are massive. When we got there the weather was nice so we went out on the beach. Halle had a lot of fun. This was the view we had from our hotel room. It was amazing. Erick and Halle enjoying the beach. Monday, April 6, 2009. Oh the joys of having kids! Austin's first attempt of eating sweet potatoes! He loved them but boy was it a mess! I think he was wondering why I was taking so long to clean him up! Fell asleep in our bed and this is what I found. I love her curls hanging down! Those things behind Austin's ears are marker lids. Halle. Had the bright idea of seeing if they would fit on his ears and they did. She thought it was so funny and apparently he thought so too. The kids and I!

Tuesday, December 30, 2008. This car in front of our house was completely buried. The weather in Portland has been crazy for the last couple of weeks. By the end of it all we had 18 inches of snow, which broke all the previous records. But not only did we have tons of snow we also had a 1/2 inch of freezing rain on top of that. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Austin has a contagious smile! Halle loves to hold her baby brother but he still doesn't know what to think about it. The view of downtown Seattle from the ferry. It was a beautiful day! Our cute little family, minus Austin, it was to cold to bring him outside. Austin in his blessing outfit. He cried the entire time during the blessing but sure did look cute. Halle got a cute tent from my parents for Christmas. She loves playing in there with all her dolls.
