July 27, 2015. 相信大家都熟知北美CG(Computer Graphic)界最大的盛會SIGGRAPH;而另一方面,大家可能也聽過(甚至投過)德國的知名的動畫影展Trickfilm Festival (Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film)(ITFS)。不過,但卻可能不知道跟著ITFS同步舉辦的,歐洲區最大最知名的CG盛會: FMX。接下來的一系列報導將是有關今年5月剛慶祝20週年的FMX活動。 整個活動FMX的活動大多都在斯圖加特中心的Haus der Wirtschaft大樓跟旁邊的Gloria影院裡舉行。四天的活動內容非常緊湊,同一個時段至少有八場演講/workshop/展示活動在同時舉行,從早上九點開始到傍晚七點每天有密密麻麻的行程表。 圖: Haus der Wirtschaft大樓內部大廳). FMX第三天,看完了歐洲的動畫公司今日的重點來到了電影產業,CG除了在後製的VFX上扮演重要的角色外,它在比較不為人知的「前製」階段也有重要的影響。「Virtual Production」,是指在某些拍攝比較複雜,特效(包含CG特效跟實際現場的爆破特效)比較多的電影前製階段,會先做的3D的pre-visualize。內容可能包括: 3D的動態腳本;3D合成預覽:綠幕拍攝時安排CG角色/場景的即時preComp,讓導演能預覽未來CG物件跟實拍演員的互動;甚至3D的實拍技術測試(Techvis): 在3D預先規劃拍攝現場的配置(包含攝影機軌道,人員位置等)。 接下來的幾場講座將是Double Negative、The Third Floor、ILM分享他們在previs上的技術:. 圖: The Third Floor為復仇者聯盟做的previs). This challenge is very difficult for me to come out an idea to do it. In the end, I decide to duplicate chairs, fance, stair and make it become a fancy show theater.The following is my first draft(March30), but I feel the overall color is a little bit monotone, and he chair and curtain's shading is not right. July 27, 2015. 2015德國FMX系列報導之五- - Lighting , Art , Photoreal. 講者為這部廣告的CG Lead, Sam Driscoll和Head of Animation, Jorge Montiel。Jorge說不管是電影還是廣告, 只要出現角色都必須賦予他「個性」,如何在各個小動作裡塑造Maya的個性是團隊在這廣告上花最多心力的地方。 製作這影片最大的挑戰在於Maya有非常多臉部的特寫,在CG中呈現一隻「寫實」的猩猩臉部非常細微的表情變化,是需要非常小心的。其中,眼睛是最重要的部分,團隊為了做出正確的眼睛動畫,拍攝了「瞳孔對光線改變的反應」測試影片做研究。 Maya的主要的素材和參考資料取材從動物園裡的猩猩RUBI, 團隊拍了很多參考照片和影片,包括他的各種表情, 動作, 身體的各部分細節. 進入3D製作後, 模型跟貼圖的素材就取自於此。(RUBI的影片見下方的behind the scene參考連結).
