http://jazznsongster.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Techo Paradise and a Little Honesty. A short Prologue :. Well, as a female I need to vent a little. Techno Paradise is writing an email and creating a document to be printed and being able to edit - and on and on - yet, could it be that females are perhaps less drawn to the techno "controls" then males? Hmmm- just accepting the change in mediums perhaps? ButI was among the first to have a laptop in 1995 . Hmmm again! So this is a selfish pat on the back. Pardon me, back soon.

Yet not in my "on board knowledge" - but .Now it is! Here's another about sound:. There were sounds made by the camera itself when zooming in and out. Point the microphone facing out, away from the pers...

Wednesday, November 19, 2008. How Does Sound Quality Change? I recently went to the web to research how singers felt using "home recording"/computer recording - and it opened up an interesting "query". I removed the word "crap" several times! My singing voice sounds different on "Audacity"? So is the recording how I really do sound, or? 2audacity is what everyone is hearing. you sound different to yourself than to everyone else. Maybe it's just the speakers.try playback on another device. Now that each p...

Technology in Music Education. Monday, November 24, 2008. Music Notation Software in the Classroom: True Music-Making? When I was growing up, computers had black screens and green text, and were only accessible to the class when we earned a field trip to the computer lab to play Oregon Trail. It never crossed my mind- or my music teachers' minds, certainly! That computers could be used in a music classroom! The principal was thrilled. She had a whole school full of little Mozarts working on Finale No...

Technology in Music Education: Musical Expression in Electronic Music
http://katemused.blogspot.com/2008/10/musical-expression-in-electronic-music.html
Technology in Music Education. Monday, October 27, 2008. Musical Expression in Electronic Music. I attended a new music concert tonight at NYU. The performers were Elizabeth McNutt, flute, Dr. Esther Lamneck, clarinet, and. computer? I've improvised on flute to a fixed electronic score before, but I have never seen a live performance of instrumentalists playing composed music to the improvisations of a computer! This may be a controversial post; is the concert I just saw really a Music concert? The Power...
