Sunday, February 22, 2009. So, a few months ago, my camera got the hiccups and wouldn't let me download my pictures to my computer. I lost my habit and drive to keep my blog updated since I didn't have my pictures to share. Then I discovered Facebook. I became severely hooked on it and even though I got my camera downloading fixed, I have neglected my blog. I'm not even going to TRY to catch up because SO much has happened since my last post. So, please forgive me and be my friend (on and off Facebook!

Monday, July 13, 2009. This is Mikayla and I would like to talk about my 8th B-Day! Birth Day) I was excited! I would be Baptized! I had a party day. It was the last day of school! This is my cake! Everyone (at my party) gathered around to see it! I woke up with curlers in my hair! This is me after breakfast trying out my new bike! Rebekah wanted to get on it but I would NOT let her. I loved it! It was higher and had a kickstand! My B-Day was a BLAST! I got alot of fun presents! Mikayla, we love you!

Monday, October 13, 2008. My little "buddy" has his b-day on the sixth of Oct. Every birth has been such a special and magical experience but Joseph's was particularly unique! I had a VERY quick labor and before I knew it, was lying on the floor at the top of our stairs giving birth in the hallway. The first response after the 911 call at 3:30 in the morning was a very nervous police officer and all in all, we WENT to the hospital with a very healthy little boy! I LOVE this wall of memories of him!

Spectacular scenery and great weather make this an excellent venue for open canoeing.
