Brandon Winfield was just fourteen years old, with a full Motocross sponsorship from Honda Motorcycles, when he had a practice accident that paralyzed him from the waist down. He was depressed for a short time, then he decided he still had a life to live, and started living it. It was about this time he discovered racing go-karts and the rest is history. A couple of years ago, I was approached by a father whose son, Brandon, was paralyzed on a professional Motocross event.
