A Day in Joyworld. June 19, 2014. I’ve been showered! Literally…because I’m a clean person with top-notch hygiene….but figuratively too! I was totally blessed by my friends and family this past weekend at my Bridal Shower! From preparation, to mingling, to clean-up afterwards, many hands made light work. Despite the smoky oven and cake debacle, it really was a beautiful day with beautiful people. Everyone was so generous and thoughtful in the gifts they gave and the love they shared. If I have a day off at one job, I’m working all day at the other job. BUT this last weekend, I got to have THREE AND A HALF days off. THREE AND A HALF! You wanna know what I did?
