A Day In The Life of Cari. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Brooke and Chris tied the knot on September 13, 2008 at 6 pm The wedding was held at Fair Oaks Ranch, TX. I had a great time seeing family members that I hadn't seen since Brent's graduation from high school 4 years ago! We got up and had breakfast (and plenty of coffee! A Day In The Life of Cari. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I'm amazed at how quickly things in life can change. Everything can seem to be going fine, and then all of a sudden, your whole world is turned upside down. That's kind of what has happened in my life since my last post. There have been some good things that have happened, but there are some things that will never be the same, and sometimes I wonder if everything will turn out ok. He's been a really good friend to me through this difficult time.
