The Hentges Fam: The Health Museum
http://hentgesfam.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-health-museum.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. One of the challenges of summer is finding things to do to entertain your kiddos. I actually like this challenge. I love doing new things with Holden and spending time together exploring our city. A few weeks ago we went to The Houston Health Museum. It is free on Thursdays so that's when we decided to go. We had fun but I felt like we went through it really fast. Luckily the Houston Fire Department showed up to give a presentation. They talked about fire safety.

The Hentges Fam: September 2014

Sunday, September 14, 2014. We Have a Kindergartener! Holden started Kindergarten a few weeks ago. It's crazy to think that Garth and I are now parents of a child old enough to go to an elementary school. I feel like we are finally in a good routine and Holden is learning how to behave as a Kindergartener. I'm not sure he was used to so much structure and so many expectations so we have really had to do some work there. Here is Holden all set for his first day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Hentges Fam: Soccer
http://hentgesfam.blogspot.com/2014/11/soccer.html
Thursday, November 13, 2014. Blogging has changed a lot for me. I find as Holden gets older and we get busier it just seems to not be a priority. I do want to keep blogging the "main" events of our lives. If I don't, I am afraid they will go undocumented and that would be a shame. This was the first season Holden played soccer. We played it through the YMCA and overall it was a great experience. I think Holden made a lot of progress. It was good exercise for sure! What a fun group!

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. MY THREE SONS.LIVIN' IN TEXAS. At 14 months and just 2 weeks before starting Mother's Day Out (where he had to be walking to be in the class I wanted him in) Colton. Started walking. He is doing such a good job. No one is as happy about this as me, this boy weighs 29 pounds. That is a lot to carry around all the time. I love to watch him toddle all over! Posted by Cathy and Andy. August 22, 2011. Here ...

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. MY THREE SONS.LIVIN' IN TEXAS. A few weeks before we brought her home, we went to pick out our Dixie from Miller Creek Kennels. It was so hard to choose between all of the adorable puppies, but Austin knew just which dog was meant to be ours. She fit right in the family, and we absolutely love her! Posted by Cathy and Andy. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. MY THREE SONS.LIVIN' IN TEXAS. Star Wars was the theme this year, and the boys loved their costumes. Braeden was Jango Fett (Bobo Fett's clone/father), Colton was R2D2, and Austin was Captain Rex. I took them to Lindsay again for a mini session with a good cause. It was a canned food drive and mini session. They were super cute, and I love the way she captured them in this shot! Our family of pumpkins.
