Thoughts from the depths of Lu. Friday, May 30, 2014. Links to this post. New home- South Carolina. Back Home- Part 2. I don't even remember all thats happened since the first update. Its truly been a blur. It seemed to take a few weeks to get rooms unpacked and semi-livable. I'm not really sure why, but this has been one of the hardest moves. and we've moved a LOT. Don't believe me? We have been married not even twelve years. and we've moved eight times! Crazy And we aren't in the military! We still hav...

...thoughts from the depths of Lu: Let's Have Chili
http://www.hyperactivelu.com/2014/12/lets-have-chili.html
Thoughts from the depths of Lu. After starting THM in the Fall, I began to wonder "how was I going to get my chili fix? Its one of my favorite things to make in the Fall/Winter! I had seen a few recipes in the THM book but I was certain I'd miss my 4-6 cans of beans=pot of chili! After looking at the two recipes in the book, I decided to try out one of them. We tweaked it a bit. Accidentally burned some of it. And surprisingly enough, we ended up with an award winning pot of chili (3rd? Kinda funny. ...

Thoughts from the depths of Lu. Three years ago, if you had asked us what churches we had been to that are labeled "non denominational" we probably had gone to it and knew why we didn't like it or "what was wrong with it". Our area is covered in churches. We are quite spoiled in that regards. Literally 3 churches on every corner, instead of a church on every corner. We leave in the South! It was a wonderful season. One that didn't last too long. Talk about feeling like a failure! Slowly, but surely, we X...

Thoughts from the depths of Lu. Along comes the clever harlot, namely natural reason,. Looks at married life,. Turns up her nose and says,. Why, must I rock the baby, wash its diapers, change its bed, smell its odor,. Heal its rash, take care of this and do that? It is better to remain single and live a quiet and carefree life. I will become a priest or a nun and tell my children to do the same.". But what does the Christian faith say? The father opens his eyes, looks at these lowly and distasteful, and.

Thoughts from the depths of Lu. I enjoy making our own baby wipes. Since Millie's diaper area issue a little over a year ago, we've been making our own baby wipes. We use paper towels, essential oils, coconut oil and/or olive oil, vinegar and Dr. Bonner's soap. Its really easy to do and takes maybe 10 minutes. I will say, the cheapest paper towels don't usually work that great for diaper wipies! Monday, December 30, 2013. Links to this post. We hope your Christmas day was a blessing to you and yours....

Thoughts from the depths of Lu. Trying to catch up on some blogging! Waiting for Mama to say "Come on down! Opening up our last "door" on the Advent calendar! A few pictures of our decorating! Awaiting Nana and Pops, Mark and Lindsey and baby cousin! We had a great laid back Christmas day! They played and played and played! I think they were having so much fun because they didn't even ask for a snack or lunch or drinks! Hubbie and I had hours to ourselves to just sit and enjoy the quiet! Not really sure ...

Thoughts from the depths of Lu. Happy Birthday, Buggy Boo! Seems like only yesterday when we were announcing the arrival of our sweet boy, Buggy. What a sweet blessing he has been to our family! Celebrating him each year reminds us how short the years really are. Even if some days feel like an eternity! I'm so grateful that I blogged through my pregnancy, birth and early years of Buggy- consistently! Like his first birthday video. Be still my heart! Buggy is one of our most loving little people. He i...
