growing PAINS: June 2012
http://pediatricadrenalinsufficiency.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. How Did We Get Here? June's Story, Part I (By Whitney). PART I: February 2010-June, 8 months old. It all started as a cold. One morning, as I was getting June out of her crib, I noticed she had bad breath. That was weird, because normally her breath didn't smell like anything! When we got home, June had acted like nothing ever happened! Mommy and Daddy, on the other hand, needed about a week's worth of rest! Sola-dee-da.life went on. How Did We Get Here? In July was June's check-...

Why mothers never drink hot tea: January 2012
http://whymothersneverdrinkhottea.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Why mothers never drink hot tea. Kris Nordgren on social media, gaming, parenting, science fiction, the future, and other stuff. Thursday, 26 January 2012. Profile pic protests are invisible. Could identifying and reading text in profile pics become the next step in social media monitoring? But then it struck me, I was not in fact making my voice heard at all. To be heard, protests must be measurable. That is why we have petitions and protest marches: so we can be counted. Links to this post. Ive recentl...

growing PAINS: Medical Identification Jewelry
http://pediatricadrenalinsufficiency.blogspot.com/2011/03/medical-identification-jewelry.html
Wednesday, March 9, 2011. WHAT DO I GET? Plan for the worst case scenario- your child is found unconscious and no one knows what is wrong or their history. It is most useful for them to have identification on their person. What is the first thing an emergency responder does when they check a victim? WHAT DO I PUT ON A MEDICAL ID BRACELET? Or whatever medication your medical professional recommends for your child during an emergency.) NAME. WHERE DO I GET MEDICAL ID BRACELET? This is the tough one. Th...

Breathe the Wild Air, Move, Be: June 2014
http://inhalethewildair.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Breathe the Wild Air, Move, Be. Sharing my journey through chronic illness. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Swimming in the sea. I swam in the sea today, well technically a bay, the Chaleur Bay. And it was warm. I floated in the shallows between the sandbars on a noodle, rising and falling with the gentle undulation of the swells, remembering the dark time a short couple of months ago when neuropathy held me in its grip 24 hours a day. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. It really does help for me to stay busy as it takes ...

Breathe the Wild Air, Move, Be: Gathering leaves
http://inhalethewildair.blogspot.com/2014/10/gathering-leaves.html
Breathe the Wild Air, Move, Be. Sharing my journey through chronic illness. Thursday, October 2, 2014. My family doctor has finally returned. I met with her yesterday and we went over everything that's been happening. She read my X-rays for me and suggested I try Tylenol arthritis in the daytime. It seems to help some. I'm determined to get back out for some walk. October 7, 2014 at 1:27 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ www.addisonsociety.ca. The Canadian Addison Society. Breathe, Move, Be.

Breathe the Wild Air, Move, Be: August 2014

Breathe the Wild Air, Move, Be. Sharing my journey through chronic illness. Monday, August 18, 2014. Summer healing and a couple of resources for neuropathic pain. I've spent as much of the summer getting outside when I could. There is something about the wind on your skin or the feeling of floating in the waves at the seashore that is such a balm to the soul and the body of one suffering from chronic pain. It has helped me feel more at peace. A Canadian Neuropathic Information Site. Breathe, Move, Be.

good . bad . happy . sad .: Simple Gifts
http://never-a-dull.blogspot.com/2011/01/simple-gifts.html
Sunday, January 02, 2011. Thinking about what I could make for simple Christmas gifts, I settled on potholders. I made a stack of 16 of them. I loved watching them pile up! I thought about each friend or relative I was making them for, and chose fabric combinations for each. Simple, fun, functional and satisfying. I hope they'll be well-used! Posted by Green Key. Such a great idea to make potholders. I think they would make a perfect gift anytime of the year. Mon Mar 07, 12:40:00 AM. Trim the corners a b...
