Thursday, December 29, 2011. Let The Taping Begin. We decorated the tape to go with her costume! At about one month of age we started the lip taping. We taped her lip 24/7 until her first surgery. I was amazed at how much a little tape could do. The tape kept the gap in her lip from getting larger and passively moved the tissue closer together in order to prepare for her first surgery. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. We are currently using the Nuk soft spout cup, but will have to advance to a spout free cup before Addyson's surgery in December. Addyson is doing a great job of controlling the flow of the milk by tipping it up and not drowning herself with milk! Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Last night was the first night since before Addyson's surgery that I woke up not feeling completely exhausted. Prior to Addy's surgery I bragged to everyone about how good of a sleeper Miss Addy was. Well that came back to bite me! Then came the ear infection! Addyson's next surgery is only a few weeks away and the sleepless nights will begin again, luckily mommy adrenaline kicks in! It's incredible what we mommies can do!
