Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC). Sadly, South Africa has one of the world’s highest HIV and AIDS infection rates and with so many people living without access to proper medical treatment and a suitable standard of nutritional intake, many continue to succumb to the disease. This project focuses on offering the relevant assistance to families or community members who have taken in orphaned children, empowering the family to cope with the many challenges that the situation will require them to face.
