The Ancient Future Adventure. I haven’t posted in some time, mostly because I forgot my username. =). President Obama is taking his holiday in Kailua. Last time he was here he spent a few hours at the shopping center by our home and the teens from church got his picture on their cell phones. The Clintons also stopped at the same shopping center when visiting serveral years earlier. What are the odds that two US Presidents would visit my street? I’ll add a post if I see him. The Ancient Future Adventure. From the Mouth of Babes. This morning I had the opportunity to speak (again) at the Hawaii Kai Retirement Community Chapel Service. These kind retirees thanked me and invited me back, frequently encouraging me with “how far I’ve come” for someone who is “just a baby.” As one auntie reminded me, “Out of the mouth of babes…”. 8220;Babes” meaning infants, naturally. The Ancient Future Adventure. A Sad Day for Flowers. This humorous story is too good to keep to myself! Lucy did not get dinner that night. I managed to piece together a handful of flowers, cut the stems to 4 inches and put them in a small bowl vase, and present them high up on the shelf out of Lucy’s reach. Monday, April 20, 2015. Every year Delta Park School hosts the Delta Dash Mountain Bike Endurance Challenge. Last year Randburg District scout troops built the start and finish line for the event and this year we did it again.except we went a lot bigger. Finished model of the gateway to build.
