We've taken to playing in the trunk of my car to get fresh air, but not get blown away by the wind. Pitiful, I know! That's living on a hill for you. This is Ty in his "pilot" mode. The boys and I had such a fantastic time up at "Possum Hollar" Sunday and Monday! We were spoiled rotten by the food (steaks, banana pudding, a TOTAL southern breakfast! Monday, May 25, 2015. This Memorial Day I wanted to get the kids out of the neighborhood. Sometime we need to break from the norm! Mike had to work the first half of the day, so we killed some time, then packed up a picnic, picked up Daddy and headed to Stony Brooke Park. It's about an hour west (southwest? Of us It was an interesting crowd (eek! But we had fun! Just walk to the wading portion, Mama. They're getting better at taking pictures. Keep it moving, boys! Ty is our trail leader. He was so happy!
