Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Last week we, Hayden and I, went camping for 6 days! Our neighbors Jim and Heather wanted to thank us for watching their dogs on their many adventures this summer. We went to Hawk's creek campground at Lake Roosevelt. Tenting camping with a vault toilet. There was running water but you had to continually pump it and keep the water going and it was treated with Iodine which isn't the best thing for someone who has a thyroid condition. Caught a fish. getting ready to net it.

Friday, October 31, 2008. Try JibJab Sendables eCards. Thursday, October 30, 2008. Today at Ellie's school/daycare was Hilarious Hat Day. We had to make a paper hat and then the kids would add the 'hilarious' to it at school. I found a paper hat design for Ellie that was different the the normal sailor hat and made it out of different colors of construction paper. It was unusual to say the least. When I picked her up today she had her hat all decked out. She is pretty proud of it. Monday, October 27, 2008.

Wednesday, March 4, 2009. A couple of weeks ago we rented the movie Hancock. And the kids loved it. Hayden really like the idea of Spaghetti madness night for supper. So, we decided that Wednesday would be the best night because it is the only day of the week that there is no practice or games of any kind. It was a hit. Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Oh Man, Oh Man! First off, I have my very first cold sore! I went to the Dr. today to make sure it was that and not some flesh eating bacteria. Hahaha. My Dr informed that I wouldn't be able to do clinicals tomorrow. Which is really great news. NOT! My clinical instructor thought it was weird that he restricted me from clinicals but said that I will make it up by doing two clinical days instead of one in a couple of weeks. Saturday, August 16, 2008. Day four. Sanibel. With Michelle at work we decided that we would go to the beaches of Sanibel. It was absolutely gorgeous. The waves were gentle and the sand was gorgeous. We played in the water a lot. It is so nice to play in the ocean with the warm water. You definitely cannot do that here in Washington or Oregon because you would be numb by the cold. Ellie again with the bucket and shovel. I think he might be getting tired of his Aunt Lysh taking his picture all the time.

Friday, April 3, 2009. Today was our last chance to hike during the spring break and the kids wanted to hike Bateman Island again. Last time we stuck to the East side of the island so today we did the west. Using 'Paint' program on my computer I highlighted the trails we hiked. The purple is what we did on Monday and red is what we did today. Since the kids wanted to picnic, we each had our backpacks with our lunch and drinks. The view from our lunch spot. Hayden at Vista point. She did that about 5 times.
