https://culturenerd.wordpress.com/2012/01/20/tribute-to-my-stomach
Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. Tribute to my stomach. January 20, 2012. Foods I miss include (yes, this list is for you Mal.). Spinach – Even in the steamed form with salt! I’ll take spinach any way I can. Apples, bananas, peaches, raspberries, guavas…you get the idea. Vegetarian options. I know I am pescatarian, but when my only option is tuna for a week straight, it gets old. Fresh entrées with MODERATE amounts of salt and oil. Newer post →. February 7, 2012.

Take your time | Aditi, The Adventurer
https://culturenerd.wordpress.com/2012/01/29/take-your-time
Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. January 29, 2012. As lovely as this has been, there’s another aspect of the relaxed atmosphere that doesn’t quite fly in my book. EPDA – extreme public displays of affection. It definitely brings a different flavor to parks and plazas throughout the city of Madrid. Newer post →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fish ate my feet! | Aditi, The Adventurer
https://culturenerd.wordpress.com/2012/04/09/fish-ate-my-feet
Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. Fish ate my feet! April 9, 2012. Have you heard of a fish spa? That’s definitely not a thing around Boston (that I know of) or San Diego. When I visited Mallorca though, it definitely was. I have very ticklish feet so the process was a bit difficult to get used to, but I still recommend trying it out. It feels extra weird but these little fishies sure know how to suck the dead skin off your epidermis. Before leaving, there’s one...

Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. Red lights and coffee shops? February 16, 2012. Frozen canals (we walked on them). And now onto the rest of Amsterdam. Finally, of the sites we visited, I’d have to say the library. Newer post →. One thought on “ Red lights and coffee shops? February 17, 2012. Gaudi-town (Barcelona) | Aditi, The Adventurer
https://culturenerd.wordpress.com/2012/05/06/gaudi-town-barcelona
Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. May 6, 2012. My translation: I think in my manner of work, there are large similarities to Gaudi. I’m including this picture to the left, although you should know that I actually took this in the Miró museum in Mallorca, not the one in Barcelona. Yes, I visited both and yes, it was worth it. 8230;I just made the phrase up but I definitely think it’s a thing. See below. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. You are comme...

About | Aditi, The Adventurer
https://culturenerd.wordpress.com/about
Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. Long and strangely specific descriptions of food. Nerdy, historical tidbits gleaned from classes, tours and locals. Awkwardly close pictures of random people. Opinions/observations/inquiries about the various places that I visit. Thanks for visiting. Peruse my blog posts, please! I love nature, food and learning about people. Follow my adventures and leave comments. (I think I love comments most of all.). Next trip in T-minus.

The Eiffel Tower and then some | Aditi, The Adventurer

Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. The Eiffel Tower and then some. March 6, 2012. I suppose this entry has taken me the most time to write because I’ve been at a loss for words. What to say about Paris? Really though, it’s quite a sight. My favorite part of this entire trip was definitely my visit Montmarte. I know Paris has Versailles, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Notre Dame (shout out to those gargoyles! If you have Paris plans, I highly suggest you visit Mon...

Frites Forever | Aditi, The Adventurer
https://culturenerd.wordpress.com/2012/03/21/frites-forever-14
Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. March 21, 2012. Store of Tintin awesomeness. Things I didn’t know about Belgium:. Hergé (creator of Tintin) was from Brussels and as a result, there entire store dedicated to Tintin as well as a large section in the Comic Strip museum. Frites are actually really good and very different from normal potato fries. Who knew? No matter how rude someone acts, if they make chocolate as good as Dumon does, I will buy it. If you ever make it t...

Aditi, The Adventurer. Traveling the world and hopefully eating a lot. Newer posts →. January 18, 2012. Traveling through Spain I have realized a couple interesting facts about the country. 1 So far, no one outside of my program has correctly identified me as an Indian. I’ve gotten Mexican, Latin American and twice Gypsy. Perhaps this isn’t a reflection on the whole of Spain or even a few cities, but it’s still surprising. While meeting locals in the area, a lady originally from Alabama introduced hersel...
