Starr Family 6: November 2014
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
I love my mom so very much. She is my mom, my friend, my confidant, adviser, supportive, caring, loving, hard working, fun, beautiful, honest and so much more! Just a few months ago she was able to move very close to me. I love it! During the process of the move we were able to spend a lot of time together. It was so much fun even during a stressful, full of hard work time! I treasure having her close and all the time we are now getting to spend with each other. I love you mom! We had lots of fun celebra...

Starr Family 6: 5th Grade Music Program
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/5th-grade-music-program.html
5th Grade Music Program. My beautiful little girl is really winding up 5th grade with her final music program. I couldn't help but think of her first elementary school music program. She struggled in kindergarten and was so scared about doing things. Her first kindergarten program was no different. She was so shy and had to hold her stuffed dog the whole program! This final year she got up and sang, told jokes, and even danced like a chicken! August 16, 2015 at 11:18 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Starr Family 6: July 2014
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
A family that plays together. Lately Courtland and Faith have been video game buddies. It is fun to watch them do something together that isn't fighting (usually). As I sat and watched them tonight. I couldn't help seeing the two of them like this. Take me out to the ball game! Looks like she inherited her mom's love of baseball. A touch of summer. Summer means getting to spend a little extra time with some of the people we love! The 4th of July. That night we went to Adam's parents' house for lots of fo...

Starr Family 6: September 2014
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A Week in my Life: Sunday. A Week in my Life: Saturday. Early morning pills for Courtland. Working on her primary lesson. A quick trip to the library. The best way to wrap up a Saturday. A Week in my Life: Friday. Lets face it. This is where my day always begins. A Mango Pineapple smoothie for my boy. Time for Bryant to deliver the papers. Trying to stop the swelling. A Week in my Life: Thursday. A look inside my purse. Homemade noodles for dinner. A Week in my Life: Wednesday. Early release from school.

Starr Family 6: June 2014
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
For dinner we invited the other Starr dads over for family dinner. Each "mom" made a main dish, sides and dessert. I always like to try something new for Adam. This year I made jambalaya and a Cuban dish called Papas rellenas, which are fried stuffed mashed potato balls. For dessert Ariel made Adam a requested chocolate cake. After dinner we pla yed. Some fun games with the dads. Happy Father's Day Adam. Pictures from our short anniversary get away. I remember it like it was yesterday. No, I bawled.

Starr Family 6: Her last field day
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/her-last-field-day.html
Her last field day. It is hard to believe we are almost done with elementary school here at our house. Faith had her last Walnut cookout and field day. She was a little disappointed that she didn't get a blue ribbon, but I thought she rocked it! Last field day, what a time full of great memories. August 16, 2015 at 11:21 AM. Starr Family 6: February 2015
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
I am thankful for the small moments together with my dad that are few and far between, but still bring smiles. It's all fun and games until mom posts the pictures. I have this little girl that likes to steal my phone and change the pictures I have on the screen. Sometimes when you take a picture, you might want to be careful because mom just might want to post them! Things don't always go as planned. Ariel celebrating her birthday dinner by going out to Montana Mikes. Love you lots Ariel! You have nothin...

He also went to the homecoming dance with a nice girl named Melissa. Ariel and I had lots of fun taking him shopping for flowers and something to wear. This summer we decided to once again see if we could refinance to find a way to fix the basement. As we once again headed down this path I read a talk by Dieter F. Uchtdorf titled, "Grateful in Any Circumstances". I have tried to apply being grateful to my circumstance. There is one thing we can do to make life sweeter, more joyful, even glorious. The fir...

Starr Family 6: April 2015
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
I had a fun time taking my two nieces Leia and Violet out for a photo shoot. I am so glad that they live close and I am able to spend so much time with them. A few random things. I know this is a silly random post, but here are some things I find just too cute. One night I decided to see if I could make tiny bite sized chocolate chip cookies. I will admit they took forever to scoop, but everyone loved them! Like mother, like daughter! Breakfast in Bed . just because. Best friends and Fresh Cream buns.

Starr Family 6: Mothers Day
http://6starrsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/mothers-day.html
No celebration is complete without Ariel's famous desserts. This is what my Mother's day is all about! You are a special Mom and so happy that your family appreciates you, but that is because you give them so much love and support. August 16, 2015 at 11:14 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
