Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Cliff, Redfield, Marcy, Skylight and Gray - 8/31-9/3/12 #14-18. We arrived at the Upper Works trailhead around 3:30pm, we got turned around a little looking for it. We met up with the other two guys in our party, packed up the last of our stuff and put some of our food in the bear cans. After signing in we left UW at 4pm. Regarding bear cans, I learned an important lesson. ALWAYS. Pack your bear cans before. Sunrise on Flowed Lands. Summit of Mt Redfield. Summit of Mt Marcy.
