too little time: 2010
http://scotchwop.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010.html
Musings of time well spent. Friday, January 8, 2010. The new year has arrived; that can bring hope and inspiration, or the feelings of. well, the other stuff. This year I choose to be on the side of hope and inspiration. There have been years when I have started out on the opposite side of the page but, as my life reaches the middle of my story, I appreciate things as they can be, were, and hopefully will be. ScotchWop Genes: One in the same? Absolutely!
http://scotchwopgenes.blogspot.com/2012/09/one-in-same-absolutely.html
Monday, September 24, 2012. One in the same? I have been doing relentless research into the identity, and outcome, of an ancestor who was an absolute mystery to me. I am happy to be able to say that the mystery has been solved! My father's baby book (compliment's of Borden in 1915) was filled out by an aunt whose name I had never heard mentioned by my parents or my father's family. The entry read (regarding the filling out of the book) "his Zia Alexandrina". And so the search was on- for 6 years! View my...

ScotchWop Genes: Voting... There's NO Excuse not to!
http://scotchwopgenes.blogspot.com/2012/10/voting-theres-no-excuse-not-to.html
Friday, October 19, 2012. Voting. There's NO Excuse not to! Normally, I don't get 'all worked up' when election time comes around. But this year seems different to me for many reasons; one being the fact that I have a daughter who is now an adult. I want her future to be full of joy, and purpose; I feel one cannot exist without the other. How could I, the granddaughter of ancestors who longed and worked for the privilege to vote, think my voice didn't matter? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mary Amelia Paladin: Meltdown-although Punxatawny Phil says "No."
http://marypaladinsart.blogspot.com/2010/02/meltdown-although-punxatawny-phil-says.html
ART is my oxygen. It lets me breathe. WRITING is my sustenance. It feeds my soul. Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Meltdown-although Punxatawny Phil says "No.". I am having a bit of a meltdown today. It started yesterday- well last evening, actually. I have been writing (working on my MG historical fiction novel) more than I have been painting. Having had a collection of short stories published last spring, I worked on that all last winter.SO it has been sporadic (at best) when I have painted. Watercolorists d...

Mary Amelia Paladin: 'Bout Time...
http://marypaladinsart.blogspot.com/2009/10/bout-time.html
ART is my oxygen. It lets me breathe. WRITING is my sustenance. It feeds my soul. Saturday, October 10, 2009. It has been quite some time since I posted; I'm a bit dissappointed in myself. Although I never try to excuse my shortcomings .I had a busy summer. I spent it doing book signings and presentations throughout the Adirondacks and had a blast! My next 'project' is to be more diligent in my postings on my blogs and updating my website so, we shall see how THAT goes! Middle grade chapter boo. Give a g...

too little time: We call him Phil...
http://scotchwop.blogspot.com/2010/02/we-call-him-phil.html
Musings of time well spent. Tuesday, February 2, 2010. We call him Phil. Today is Groundhog Day. I live in central Pennsylvania; one need not be native to this state to know about "Punxatawny Phil" (we PA-ers know him as just, "Phil"). The responsibility that rests upon his well-fed, chubby little shoulders is not taken lightly. Phil is a popular critter, unlike his close relatives, the consumers of all things seed-like. squirrels. He is even more popular if he gives us the report we want to hear. Shawn ...
