Adnan's Philosophy Blog. The life which is unexamined is not worth living – Socrates. My name is Adnan Ahmad and I am a philosophy student and I am studying Philosophy at Lampeter uni for 4 years. I am hoping to study MPhil and PhD in the same field of study. My main interest is the Nature of Philosophy and the philosophical problems, such as the question of Being-There and the question of Being. I believe philosophy is the path whichphilosopher can ask and answer the most of outstanding questions.

On the other hand, George Berkeley attacked Locke’s philosophical argument, that we cannot perceive ‘ideas’ directly. For Berkeley, not only do we perceive ‘ideas’ directly, but most oddly, there is no physical external world but only spiritual world or mental stuff. Berkeley basically says that only ideas exist.
