Monday, June 30, 2014. Life around here has been as hectic as always. I originally had the summer off but something came up so I am now working most weeks. Not what I planned on but it will work out. For vacation this year we went to the Cowboy Capital of the world, Bandera, Texas. We stayed at the most amazing ranch, The Flying L Ranch. There were tons of activities for the boys and lots of R&R for us grown-ups. I read 5 books while we were there and even knit a fair bit. More nachos and swimming.

Friday, May 23, 2014. Spelling Bee Finalist……Ahren! Earlier this year Levi made it into the 3rd-5th grade spelling bee finals. He ended up in fourth place, which was fine by him. Sunday, April 26, 2015. Levi loves the show Dr. Who so I found the original pattern and made a smaller version of it for him. Chris surprised the boys with a new dirt bike. The old one was getting much too small for them. Levi in the kitchen with me making braised short ribs. All of our boys love to cook and I enjoy the help and the company! Essie the Accidental Mommy. Omg, who is that enormous blond child? Have you seen the tardis scarf? I think its reversible, crazy hard looking! Katie, Ashley and Levi.

Monday, March 31, 2014. For Knox's 4th "Gotcha Day" we took him to the Discovery Park of America in Union City. This was our first time to visit the park and it did not disappoint. Knox loved looking at all the different stuff, sliding down the slide, and playing in all the water. We also got to see lots of interesting exhibits.
