Wednesday, August 4, 2010. I'm so happy she sent me this e-mail! Well, we finally made it to Russia. We visited the orphanage yesterday and today. I handed over your envelope and photos. When we came in today she said she shared the photos with the caretakers that were there at the time your daughter was and they also were so happy for your family. Then she got the photos out again and looked though them. I hadn't seen a single Russian smile until I shared your photos.thanks. August 13, 2010 at 3:20 PM.

Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Red alert, and false alarm. I got quite concerned by Sunday night as Amanda's left eye started to look like it was swimming in blood. This picture from Sunday bedtime isn't the best perhaps, as it's not as brilliantly red as it seemed to me!
