A Dash of the Unexpected. July 9, 2015. 4th retrospective, and a four-legged good-bye. Thought I’d drop these off from our 4th of July weekend, which also included a celebration of Grandma’s birthday. (Corin: “How old is Grandma going to be? 8221; Me: [a number that sounds pretty high at 5] Corin: “Oh my. I’m not ready for that yet.”) Lots of fun cousin time for the kiddos and lots of good food for everyone. Radnor Lake from a quick. slightly rainy hike on Saturday afternoon. And tagged Fourth of July.

A Dash of the Unexpected. Tag Archives: buddy walk. November 3, 2015. Why the Buddy Walk? I have a lot on my mind, so bear with me over these next couple posts as I try to bring some order to my thoughts. I’ve thought quite a bit the last few days about the question, “Why do we have the Buddy Walk? All of this requires organization, planning and funds. This year, the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee. I dissolved into tears just once during the Buddy Walk. It was at the end of the walk, a...

Here is the top Google result for “drawing of boy eating breakfast:”. Here is the top Google result for “drawing of girl eating breakfast:”. Life in the...

A Dash of the Unexpected. July 28, 2015. I could spend this post telling you about my day yesterday, when I lost one of my Mother’s Day rings at the Target checkout and had to hunt it down, then realized I’d locked my keys in the car on a day I’d forgotten my cell phone at home, then had to try to comfort a five-year-old who fell and cracked his head on the floor while we waited for daddy…. A Dash of the Unexpected. August 20, 2016. Finally, Family Camp. It took weeks, but I finally got our photos from family camp sorted and edited. I’m slowly catching up after a very busy end to our summer. Our church conference runs a summer camp east of Nashville on Center Hill Lake. The heat and bugs? August 12, 2016. I am s...
