Anyone that bothers to even look slightly past the surface knows coercion and manipulation is still alive and kickin’ in the adoption industry. With billions of dollars at stake, how could it not? There are plenty of things that could be done to lessen the coercion. Tell the mother she might not have any other kids. Help connect her with mothers in similar situations who kept their babies.
