Pistachio Macarons - Love Macarons? Adore Macarons

St Ives Farmers Market. My pistachio macarons are made with a rich pistachio and dark chocolate ganache. The pistachios I chop myself, only chopping enough for each batch, to keep the most flavour in the nuts and in the finished macarons. Chocolate ganache is made with just chocolate and double cream, no artifical colours or flavours are used or needed the the chopped nuts are stirred through before being piped into the macaron shells.

St Ives Farmers Market. My lemon macarons are filled with a buttercream and lemon centre. Lemon macarons are perfect for after a meal as the lemon helps clean the palate. On a hot day the lemon is more refreshing compared to other sweets and deserts.
