"They're not smores; they're samosas!": June 2005
http://7thevan.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
They're not smores; they're samosas! Saturday, June 18, 2005. 1 I'm not surprised that Michael Jackson was found not guilty of the major charges against him. I am surprised he was acquitted of EVERYTHING. Well that's not quite true.I suppose he is still guilty of being a weirdo. I could be tarred-and-feathered for this if I write this in a city named after a Queen. 3 I picked up a basketball for the first time in years last week. I'm still deadly from beyond the arc. 4 I've lost my golf swing again.

"They're not smores; they're samosas!": July 2005

They're not smores; they're samosas! Saturday, July 23, 2005. Simon, I think it's a good thing that I couldn't make it out to Calgary. It would've been great to see you again.but that beating the Riders took tonight would have left me in a rather foul mood ;). I can't recall the last time I turned a Rider game off that early. That was disgraceful. Of all the games to be ill-prepared, sloppy, and ineffective, why did it have to be against Henry Burris and the Stampeders? Posted by Ev(an) at 11:55 PM.

They're not smores; they're samosas! Tuesday, May 31, 2005. That title was the best I could come up with on short notice :). Evan, you genious! I was trying to think of potential thesis topics today. I looked through previous topics on the University of Regina grad studies website. Trying to think of something I could leech off of.I mean, make a sequel out of (good save! Why I believe, in theory, that a minority parliament should work more effectively than a majority parliament? Evan: Expect Great Things!

"They're not smores; they're samosas!": April 2005
http://7thevan.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
They're not smores; they're samosas! Saturday, April 30, 2005. Tonight was Jody Lepp's last performance with Stereotrap. Hard to believe that the band of "4 Christian guys from Dalmeny" has been together for SEVEN. That longevity is a feat in itself given the volatility of the music biz these days! I can only imagine how hard it was for him to give up something he truly loves to do, but he knows exactly what he wants to do with his life. I wish him all the best in his pursuits. They're not smores; they're samosas! Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Would you mind if you validated America's decision to turf you and sing that song again? We just want to make sure we're cool with our decision.". Posted by Ev(an) at 9:38 PM. Sunday, March 27, 2005. And the survey says. OK, what is Evan's biggest pet peeve? Professors who have absolutely horrible command of the English language? Top 5, for sure. Professors with illegible handwriting? Well, I guess you could lump that in with the previous one.

"They're not smores; they're samosas!": November 2004
http://7thevan.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
They're not smores; they're samosas! Saturday, November 27, 2004. Something odd that may interest only me. So here I am killing time at work, a frequent activity of mine, and I come across a can of Campbell's New England Clam Chowder. Of course, the French buff in me (which to my astonishment is surprisingly dominant) checks to see how this would be translated.Palourdres de Maine. Why Maine in particular? I know Maine is a part of New England, but why didn't they just translate "New England" into French?

They're not smores; they're samosas! Thursday, February 17, 2005. Sports, sports, sports, sports. You may be shocked by what I have to say: I've always wanted to be a sports journalist. I even thought about going to school in the States to pursue that dream. Anybody surprised by this revelation? I thought not. ;). There's a couple of sporting items I want to comment on. The Henry Burris Sweepstakes. Will he stay or will he go? NHL cancels the season. 8 out of 32? Then he offers a last minute ultimatum to...

http://7thevan.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
They're not smores; they're samosas! Thursday, January 27, 2005. Flip-flop, flip-flop, flip-flop. PM rejects NDP demand on same-sex vote. Prime Minister Paul Martin has rejected calls by NDP Leader Jack Layton to force the entire Liberal caucus to vote in favour of same-sex marriage. Mr Layton argued in a published article that Mr. Martin is "playing politics with human rights" by allowing his backbench MPs to vote freely on the upcoming marriage bill. My retort is this: EXCUSE ME? Cry me a river! These ...

They're not smores; they're samosas! Thursday, September 22, 2005. Whenever I buy a CD, I play it a few times and get tired of it rather quickly and stow it away for a lengthy period of time.perhaps never to be picked up again. That's not the case with the new Switchfoot CD. I've played it non-stop for the last week and a half and I'm still not tired of it. Buy it. Buy it now. Posted by Ev(an) at 1:53 PM. Monday, September 19, 2005. I had fun.in REGINA! I should have asked one of the locals. We arrived a...

They're not smores; they're samosas! Sunday, August 28, 2005. A blog for the heck of it. Wow, I haven't posted much this month. But don't worry, nothing newsworthy or funny happened, so you didn't miss anything! I've never really paid any attention! Posted by Ev(an) at 10:33 PM. Tuesday, August 02, 2005. This is what I deserve for trying new things. Hey, I'm not going to take that from me! I've got to shut me up once and for all! How do people stranded on an island eat these things? That was the most dis...
