Lynda Farrington Wilson Illustration: January 2014
http://lyndafarringtonwilson.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 20, 2014. Feeling so inspired with a new beginning, committed to doing artwork for myself. And I just love the rain. Don't you? Sunday, January 19, 2014. I have been so fortunate this past year to have illustrated about 10 books for other authors. it paid the bills and a good time was had for the most part. But. I'm bored. As I work on the vision of others, whimsical little thoughts of my own creep into my mind's eye in the midnight hours. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Steal Like an Artist.

Sunday, February 19, 2012. This week's challenge is "fluid", and my mind wandered. To the fluidity of a little girl's dress as she spins around with joy. Lynda Farrington Wilson Illustration: Illustration Friday: EXOTIC
http://lyndafarringtonwilson.blogspot.com/2014/02/illustration-friday-exotic.html
Wednesday, February 5, 2014. I struggled with ideas for this week's EXOTIC challenge as I am anything but exotic. Yesterday, a potential client asked if I could do up a sketch of a "Sad Sloth". I agreed and much to my surprise, a sloth isn't caterpillar-like as. I thought (was I thinking, slug LOL? But rather this sweet little creature. Now HE is exotic, and I hope he doesn't remain sad for too long. Thanks so much for leaving a comment. I love to hear what youre thinking! View my complete profile.

Friday, July 1, 2011. This is from a book, Alphatorts with X-tra Yummy Zucchinis. When I saw the REMEDY challenge for this week, I couldn't resist posting this illustration. Afterall, when you are in Blueberry Court, with licorice hammocks, ingesting jellybeans and donuts. With a zucchini on the side, well, you ARE in need of a remedy! I had a blast creating these illustrations with a gouache/graphite pencil combination. Labels: IF remedy boy blueberries jellybeans zucchini. July 6, 2011 at 11:23 PM.

A Drawing of a Dork's Life
A Wizard 101 blog following an anspiring artist's journey along with her three wizard friends. Monday, October 3, 2011. And it only took me ten minutes to draw. Yeah, I want to do the master quest I didn't get to do last year, but I have way too much homework. The quest would probably take more than ten minutes to complete anyway. Monday, October 03, 2011. Sunday, October 2, 2011. No Brains, A Glitch and Much More! So, I totally forgot about my blogger anniversary. I fail on many major levels. :I. So, I'...

Friday, December 19, 2014. Art Basel Miami 2014. Scope Art Fair is quite literally on the beach. It's been a really fun year. Fittingly, the last art event of 2014 was an exhibition at Scope Art Fair Miami with Hashimoto Contemporary. I created four pieces for the exhibition, and while we only had room to hang two, the response from visitors was beyond invigorating. Other exhibitors at Hashimoto's booth included Shawn Huckins, Handiedan, Crystal Wagner and Scott Scheidly. Happy New Year, everyone. Februa...
