Banksy (unknown title and lifespan) 2016. What do you think this piece is saying about modern communication? May 2, 2016. 3 thoughts on “ Historical Context. May 4, 2016 at 2:38 pm. I think this piece is saying that in modern social media, people don’t want to see the bad sides of life. People only want to see that perfect, happy child, and ignore people who are less than happy on social media. May 4, 2016 at 3:16 pm. May 4, 2016 at 4:26 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. What elements would you use and what elements would you change (of the original)? May 2, 2016. One thought on “ Visual Response. May 3, 2016 at 10:15 pm. I enjoy the simplicity and over exaggeration of the head size. I would keep the heads and depthless eyes but introduce some color. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. I think the letter could possibly be a story or a catching-up on the artists’ life and his new experiences. It seems like it has a lot of his character in it so I am thinking that the letter has something very important to do with the artists’ life. May 4, 2016 at 4:03 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. I went to the “Elemental” exhibit and took a photo with a piece by Lisa Gregg Wightman that incorporates mixed media and pieces of nature. The piece fits in well with the other pieces in the show, as they have themes of nature and use found objects in nature. What found objects in nature can you see in this piece? May 3, 2016. Elaine de Kooning (1918-1989), Harold Rosenburg #3, 1956, oil on canvas. Taking a look at this piece, you’ll notice the extraordinary use of line and mark to create a stunning image. The excitement in the colors creates the scene that depicts a man lounging in some kind of room or space. It is a very intriguing work of art and the chaotic nature of the brush strokes and line is astounding. What are your thoughts on her use of line? May 2, 2016. One thought on “ Museum Label.
