meandering miranda: 2013 in Review
http://meanderingmiranda.blogspot.com/2014/01/2013-in-review.html
Saturday, January 18, 2014. Now this is just embarrassing! I am again summarizing an entire year with a single post. Let's hope 2014 holds way more time for blogging. In January I visited NYC (I really do love that city). To hang with my dear friend E.T. and my lovely big brother. E.T. and I saw this wonderful play called "Duchess"and I was able to meet this Golden Globe Winner. Such a great weekend with E.T. I do love this kid. Is it wrong to love an object? She is one of my absolute favorite things.

meandering miranda: Final DC Days
http://meanderingmiranda.blogspot.com/2014/01/final-dc-days.html
Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Part of me doesn't feel like I could do justice to DC in a single post. So rather I will focus on my departure from DC so I can begin blogging about my Sabbatical. Packing up my office was actually pretty rough. Even though I will be working for the same company, it was hard to know that I will never work in this space again. It's an ending and those are always a little bit sad for me. It was one of those nights that made my heart ache with love. She is a ray of sunshine. Sneak...

meandering miranda: February 2014
http://meanderingmiranda.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 6, 2014. I knew that when I was able to get two months off to move from Virginia to Utah that I would be spending a good chunk of time in Florida. Partly because I'm over the Cold but most especially to spend time with my people. If you're reading this, then you are my people and you know how important friendships and relationships are to me. Halfway through the Sabbatical, I have no regrets. Here's who I was able to see as I trekked down I-95 and crisscrossed my way through Florida.

The Buffalo Daytons: March 2012
http://thedaytonupdate.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 5, 2012. The Good and Bad News. Let's start with the good news. I am going to AFRICA! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I haven't let myself get excited the whole time we've been planning because there has always been a chance I wouldn't be able to go. Now that it is a sure thing, I can't stop thinking about what an adventure it will be. Saturday, March 3, 2012. Kilimanjaro Bound . . . Maybe. We never really considered though that Natalie would maybe. The plane for Africa leaves Saturd...

meandering miranda: October 2010
http://meanderingmiranda.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 10, 2010. Our most recent Workshop for work was held in Chicago. It was an exhausting weekend but it went really well. The highlight of the weekend, however, was the company of this wonderful lady. Oh how I adore Jenny. Chicago is our city, so she made the trek and we spent the weekend eating, laughing, crying and just catching up. She is the greatest friend. I'd be lost without her. I cannot get enough of this little Chunk. He is such a cutie! It was a lot of fun. He's such a big boy!

The Buffalo Daytons: February 2012

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. With IVF, early news is not usually good news. So when I started bleeding on Sunday, I immediately thought it was over. I called my doctor Monday to let him know that I was bleeding so I could get the go ahead to stop taking progesterone. He sent me for a blood test the next morning to confirm the non-pregnancy before allowing me to stop medication. Tuesday afternoon the nurse called me back to let me know that the blood test came back positive. What? Tuesday, February 21, 2...

The Buffalo Daytons: Running with my shoes off
http://thedaytonupdate.blogspot.com/2012/05/running-with-my-shoes-off.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. Running with my shoes off. On Saturday I decided to run on the UB trail that goes along the Erie Canal. It was a gorgeous day, and I got started early enough that it was pretty cool. Since I got an early start, and I had two 10oz bottles strapped on, I decided to go for my longest run yet, 14 miles. Since a couple of weeks before the marathon I have been running using the Jeff Galloway walk run method. Then, I remembered the lessons from the book, Born to Run. May 29, 2012 at 7:23 PM.

The Buffalo Daytons: April 2013
http://thedaytonupdate.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 20, 2013. I am honestly not sure if anyone reads our blog anymore (why would they? I never post). But I thought I would put up some recent pictures for good measure. Thanks to my brother Spencer, who took all of the warm weather pictures during our trip to St. George. First photo together as a family of 4. Taylor's first ski trip. He loved it. This is what happens when I try and take pictures of my boys. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Best Recipe of the Week. For the Love of Cooking.

The Buffalo Daytons: November 2011
http://thedaytonupdate.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 13, 2011. The Rise of the Hot Tub. It is better to hot tub. Then to not tub. This past week my wife finally gave in and allowed destiny to happen. If we can afford it, then you can get a hot tub," she agreed. (All the while I've been thinking, "how can we afford NOT to buy a hot tub? After five winters, I realized it wasn't going to happen. I decided that if I really wanted a hot tub, I would have to put it in myself. Feeling the urgency, I probably called a dozen places with no success&...
