From LA to LA. Our family's journey to New Orleans. North Carolina →. LA has also had its share of crumbling, non-maintained infrastructure problems. More acute here in New Orleans because of the larger threat of major disasters. I try not to make a habit of comparing LA to NOLA, but i think this bad habit is creeping up on me because of the discomfort of home-sickness. It reminds me of a summer full of the sunday we just had, with Trouble demanding paddle pool and sprinkler all day long. We dont have the super cool house with pool though. The start of school! No, it's not indy's turn yet. If you know him well, you can tell this is a nervous smile). And it was his first day of school EVER! He was so brave and didn't cry - although a many a tear was shed over the summer about it. We had ice cream after to celebrate a great first day! On the second day he walked along the low wall like a pro. School is a walk in the park. Ezra was playing with the money. Here he is at the start of the second week of school in his uniform. No hat no play!

A girl at that! I've had this before. and it was nothing. SO it's probably nothing now. In other news, I was researching some possible career choices today and am considering dentistry.
