There were times when both characters were frustrating, and yet, it fit with their personalities and backgrounds, so it never reached the point where I didn't enjoy the book. This year Carson has been attending The Sunny Patch Preschool which is owned and taught by a good friend and neighbor, Alanna Steele. Carson has loved going to preschool and has learned so much. From what we are told he is a very good student and is a leader among his friends. Tonight for preschool Graduation he did a wonderful job participating in songs and reciting his line that he had practiced. It was a really cute program and we are proud of Carson and how well he has done!

Soaring Eagle award night. Tonight was the Soaring Eagle Awards night at Oakcrest Elementary. We are so proud of Skyler and all the hard work he has put into completing all of his Soaring Eagle Projects. He was the only one from his class to earn this award-it is not an easy thing to do and does take a lot of extracurricular time! Little Wonders...: SSR Stake 5k

Today Skyler and I ran in our stake 5k today. First of all we got there WAY to early so we had a lot of waiting time. We did get some fun pictures though! He blitzed out and I could see him for the first mile or so until we hit a big bend in the road. After that I didn't see him again until the end of the race. He finished in 23:52!
